This website was created for my private practice which is now closed. I am keeping a simplified version running, for general information, and perhaps some nostalgia.

It was with some sadness that, effective Oct. 1, 2017, I announced the closure of my Bellevue office practice after 23 years. My wife & I have moved to Palm Desert, CA where I am now doing part time hospital consultation work.

I maintain hard copy patient records as required by law. After about 2019, record requests have nearly entirely run their course. I tried to be quite diligent in transitioning all patients, and that too appears to have now successfully completed its course.

It has been an honor & privilege to serve so many patients over the years who struggle with psychiatric disease. I’ve learned much from them & owe my skills partly to them. Witnessing the improvement in life trajectories with the application of skilled medication management has been especially gratifying; and it has been moving to hear the outpouring of support and gratitude during the process of closing my practice. To have made a difference in so many lives has been most satisfying.
